Piano Lessons
Piano lessons teach kids learn the basics of music and give them fun opportunities to learn to play their favorite songs.
During their lessons, students will be able to practice on a well-maintained grand piano.
Flute Lessons
Young beginners work a lot on tone production and basics, while older students can get help with their band and orchestra music.
Maria helps flutists refine their technique and develop their own musical tastes.
Annual Recital
Each spring, everyone is encouraged to play in a small recital at the Keene Public Library.
Students have performed selections from musical theatre, movie & game soundtracks, classical & more.

Custom Musical Arrangements
Music students thrive when they are given the chance to play their favorite songs – on their own level. However, high quality sheet music arrangements can be difficult to find for beginning and intermediate students.
Maria is a published arranger who takes the time to create custom arrangements for her students to ensure each one has the opportunity to choose their own solos and feel successful playing them.
“We have been taking lessons with Maria for over 6 months and I feel like we will have an ongoing relationship with her for many years! She is a wonderful teacher and a very kind, considerate and responsible person.”
“Over the last six years, Maria has been more than a private piano teacher for my daughter. She has been a mentor for her middle school music ventures, an audience member at her concerts cheering her on, and a friend who listens when she is feeling overwhelmed. Maria’s depth of knowledge about music and music theory is obvious, but it’s her ability to relate and her love of the art that makes working with her so valuable and fun.”
“I’ve been playing with Maria for three years, and I appreciate that I ALWAYS take something away from each lesson that I did not notice in my own flute playing. Her patient yet structured approach makes for productive and good-hearted lessons, and her deep knowledge of the instrument and music in general keeps me motivated to keep improving, knowing there’s always room to grow!”
